Sunday Star Fleet Battles. I began withe WE cloaked, waiting to get close enough to fire the torpedo so it would be successful. No use firing at long range just to have it run out of steam by the time it got to the Fed. I sent out a shuttle early, more as a nuisance than anything. Better to use it before it gets destroyed. Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Combat Patrol - Boer Wars. Last week during our regularly scheduled game night, Dave hosted a Boer Wars scenario using the newly released Combat Patrol rules - modified for the colonial period. The scenario involved a patrol of British troops escorting some wagons and a Gatling gun. Overall the game went pretty smoothly even though it was a playtest of Dave's modifications.
