The Kids' Comet Dash, a 1/2 mile fun run with obstacle course entirely on school grounds, will be held after the 5k (10am). Each participating child will receive a Rocket Run medallion and an Authentic Nasa Mission Badge. Register for the Kids' Comet Dash. Nov 4 - Registration / packet pickup at Vance, 2:30pm-4:30pm [in front of Vance Elementary]. Nov 5 - Race day registration / packet pick-up 7:30am - 8:45am behind Vance Elementary, on Clinton Ave -OR- near the field 9:00am - 9:45am.

The Vance Parent Team is an active group of parents and faculty members working together to provide quality education for our children. Examples of Parent Team projects include Vance Peace Garden development, teacher grants, Teacher Appreciation week activities, and operating the Afterschool Enrichment classes.
