For those that wander to those places that are… Off the Chart. January 11th, 2010 by Capt. Chris Peterson. With the missing hikers in Washington State on Mt. Hood in the news this week, it reminds me that with some lightwieght grear to comunicate the call for help and relay thier position thier would not even be a news story. I am therefore posting this commentary I wrote for the summer issue of the Florida CCA’s Sea Watch pubication as a reminder to please take proper comunications gear with you.
