Acid leak in Tampines factory. Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Fourteen factory workers were taken to Changi General Hospital on Tuesday evening following a chemical leak at a factory in Tampines. All of them have since been allowed to go home. The Singapore Civil Defence Force received a call about the incident just after 7pm and attended to it shortly. SCDF officers found diluted acid dripping from a delivery pipe at AFPD Private Limited, located at Tampines Industrial Avenue 3. Accident in Bukit Timah.

Personalities from all walks of life will be there, including ex-national swimmer Leslie Kwok and inspirational leader Dr William Tan. S'pore Scout Association celebrates 100 years of World Scouting. Sunday, June 24, 2007. The Singapore Scout Association commemorates 100 years of World Scouting this year. A special dinner was held on Friday evening to mark the celebrations. President SR Nathan, the Chief Scout, was given a grand welcome. He was the guest of honour at the charity dinner, which raised a total of S$155,000 for the Singapore Scouts. The money will be channelled into maintaining one of the association camps.
