Friday, January 22, 2010. Today Dinisha and her little man Ethan came over to help finish cooking for the baby shower. Today's project was cupcakes. We had a few issues with the frosting. I looked up a few online and the girls made them, but the never quite turned out, so we ran to the store and got store bought frosting. Links to this post. Labels: Caydens baby shower. Saturday, August 27, 2011. Mustang.ya know we have to have a shot of at least one of them. This truck was pretty tall, the guy was friendly and gave us info on a local club that does some off roading. Rat rods are just cool, they show imagination and skill, they are like rusty works of art. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is a blog of our family adventures, and activities. AEDM Day 29: Inchies | Life Under the Apple Tree
https://lifeundertheappletree.wordpress.com/2009/11/29/aedm-day-29-inchies
Life Under the Apple Tree. AEDM Day 29: Inchies. Soul Journaling Day Six: Inchies. I wasn’t crazy about this cut-and-paste exercise from the Soul Journaling prompts. But I’m loving my handmade journal. The pages are really tough (“solid” is a good way to describe them), especially when you start adding media to them, and they lay nice and flat. I’ll definitely be making more of these. 29 November, 2009 at 10:18 pm. Art Every Day Month. Laquo; AEDM Days 25-28: Doodles and Sketches. Enter your comment here.

Life Under the Apple Tree. In Hindsight: All It Takes Is You. My neighbor and I were talking a few days ago about gay marriage. She is gay and lives with her partner next door. She believes strongly that gay marriage should be legalized. She said, “That will NEVER happen.”. I immediately backed down (a bad habit of mine that I want to break), and said, “No, it won’t, but it should,” or something lame like that. 30 December, 2009 at 1:00 am. Posted in In Hindsight. AEDM Day 21: Easy-Peasy Art Journals | Life Under the Apple Tree
https://lifeundertheappletree.wordpress.com/2009/11/22/aedm-day-21-easy-peasy-art-journals
Life Under the Apple Tree. AEDM Day 21: Easy-Peasy Art Journals. Yesterday Jessa (my ten-year-old daughter who has been doing AEDM with me) and I made these Easy Peasy Journals as instructed by Samantha Kira. They are made with manilla folders for extra thick paper, with the pages sewn in, which is something I’ve never done before. Now we have our very own hand-made journals that should hold up to paint, gesso, glue, sanding, and just about anything! So many ideas, so little time! Art Every Day Month.

I've decided I will use this time to sharpen my drawing skills. I bought some doodling lessons from. Nicolette Anderson here are some doodles I did from the. Life Under the Apple Tree. AEDM Days 25-28: Doodles and Sketches. Day 25 – Incorporating words into a zentangle, done in the car (thus the wiggly lines). Day 27 – I didn’t do anything that I want to share on Thanksgiving Day, but I did do artwork, and I did a lot of work on the following day. Here’s my attempt at a free-drawn girl. I need a lot of work in the area of drawing people without having anything to look at! Day 27 – Zentangle in red. 28 November, 2009 at 6:21 pm. Art Every Day Month. 28 Novembe...
