OK, so the whole premise of this blog is that I'm all over the place, but if you're reading this, there must be a reason. So what do you like? What do you want to see in the future? More full length reviews? Random crap like post offices. More "You should know" gossip about my life and friends and what they have to do with the review? More links to other blogs?

Life Is (Not) Boring: Apr 20, 2008
http://linboring.blogspot.com/2008_04_20_archive.html
Sunday, April 20, 2008. In which Greek Life fears me. Suites. So I decided to rush a sorority. I was told that in about four years, only one candidate had not made it into a sorority, and she had not bothered to participate in the process. Pretty inclusive group, don't you think? In this process, the three sororities. I was meticulous, carefully weighing each against the others, taking notes and asking detailed questions. Was any feedback given? It turns out the sisters were intimidated by my note-taking.

Life Is (Not) Boring: In which I write a second personal ad
http://linboring.blogspot.com/2009/10/in-which-i-write-second-personal-ad.html
Saturday, October 3, 2009. In which I write a second personal ad. It's time for another personal ad. Once again, I want to give credit to Havi at The Fluent Self. Please note: I am not looking for a date, here! Me: A young adult who missed the horizon-broadening experiences of study-abroad. Are you an adventure that will get me off this coast? Do you scoff at tourist traps. Because - let's face it - they don't really convey current culture? The right situation can find me by way of serendipity. In which ...

Life Is (Not) Boring: Sep 11, 2011
http://linboring.blogspot.com/2011_09_11_archive.html
Sunday, September 11, 2011. In which I remember. I slept through the whole thing. On Tuesdays my first semester of college I only had one class, in the afternoon. I usually slept in. My suite was pretty much deserted. My roommate was gone. I got up late, flicked on Comedy Central. Which did not have any kind of news ticker. Or break-in), and watched TV. Before taking my shower. Why didn't you just knock? You're not supposed to be done class yet.". They let us out early.". That one class was philosophy.

Life Is (Not) Boring: Jun 9, 2008
http://linboring.blogspot.com/2008_06_09_archive.html
Monday, June 9, 2008. In which I attend a bridal shower (and drop hints in boldface). I recently attended the bridal shower. Of a distant relative. She's a very nice woman, though I should say I don't know her especially well. There were perfectly valid reasons for me going that I won't get into here; my invitation was not a point of complaint. Honestly, I don't expect to have a shower at all. The entire bridal party. Link] theme, even if the team colors do match the wedding colors. She was then adorned ...

Life Is (Not) Boring: In which I evaluate the past week.
http://linboring.blogspot.com/2010/02/in-which-i-evaluate-past-week.html
Monday, February 1, 2010. In which I evaluate the past week. I recently read this article at Marc and Angel Hack Life. About the end-of-week review. I figured I'd give it a try, and if it works, great - maybe I can use it to increase my blogging production! What did I learn last week? At a certain point, it ceases to be sangria and becomes marinated fruit. Salad This, in itself, is not a bad thing. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week. After eating at one of our favorite restaurants.

Life Is (Not) Boring: In which I battle PennDOT
http://linboring.blogspot.com/2008/10/in-which-i-battle-penndot.html
Friday, October 17, 2008. In which I battle PennDOT. No, I should be honest here. I can't. I got my permit at 16, took driver's ed. And just never took the test. My permit expired. Between carpools and and mass transit. It never got urgent. But since I don't actually know where I'll be living a year from now, I can't depend on trains and subways and buses being readily available. So I need to learn to drive. Again. On October 4, I gathered up my ID. Info and my forms and took the bus to the PennDOT.

Life Is (Not) Boring: In which I do things before I die
http://linboring.blogspot.com/2008/08/in-which-i-do-things-before-i-die.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2008. In which I do things before I die. I've had a list of things to do before I die for a while now - at least a year and a half or two years ago. The last few years, I have made it a New Year's Resolution. To do at least one item off the list, and I also use the list to keep my 43things. In line. But I've never made the whole list public. Then, I read this post. Take dance lessons (finite or ongoing) - IN PROGRESS. Take shooting lessons (finite). Take Spanish lessons (ongoing).
