Trying To Be Clever...: February 2015
http://trulyclever.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. Friday is pizza night at our house. I've been making the sauce and crust from scratch this year. They are both delectable. Or so I thought. Peter: Mom, can we please have frozen pizza tonight? Peter: Well, no offense Mom, but I like frozen pizza better than the homemade stuff you make. He also fessed up to preferring the mac and cheese from the box above the homemade kind I like to serve. Apparently mine is too cheesy. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Can You Hear Me Now? Will it g...

Trying To Be Clever...: December 2014
http://trulyclever.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. A Year of Outtakes. I upload all of my pictures to Google . The folks at Google (or their robot servants) put together a little movie of my photos. The thing is, most of the snapshots they picked are outtakes, not-quite-perfect variations of better pictures. I guess that's fitting since none of us are perfect. So here are some of the pictures that didn't quite make it onto the blog before. Consider it our blooper reel. So long 2014, hello 2015. Tuesday, December 30, 2014.

Trying To Be Clever...: August 2015
http://trulyclever.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. We are continuing to make progress on our war against stuff. On Saturday the kids and I folded several loads of laundry. Then, instead of sending them with their own apparel to put away, I sat down with each child and went through every item in their basket and drawers. Between hand-me-downs, new school clothes, and the fact that most of his shirts still fit from last year, we discovered that Cooper had twenty short-sleeved shirts in his drawer. Twenty! Trying To Be Clever...: May 2015

Friday, May 29, 2015. The Joy of an Ice Cream Cone. Thursday, May 28, 2015. Search, Ponder, and Pray. Tonight was the much-anticipated Relief Society meeting. The first woman, who has a Master's degree in exercise science and writes for the Huffington Post on health and fitness, spoke about physical health. The second woman, a clinical psychologist who teaches at Rutger's and writes textbooks, spoke about mental and emotional health. And then there was me. And you know what? Spiritual food is necessary f...

Trying To Be Clever...: June 2015
http://trulyclever.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. I had a few people ask if we had an adventure for my birthday. As a matter of fact, we did. We spent the entire week leading up to my birthday in Atlantic City. Now, you may be asking yourself, "What could a girl who doesn't gamble or drink possibly find to do in Atlantic City? Quite a bit, as it turns out. The cousins had lots of fun playing together. And eating together. And being slightly mischievous together. Or something like that. The boys played together too. Henry alwa...

The Family Chiara: Season's Greetings 2011
http://thefamilychiara.blogspot.com/2012/01/seasons-greetings-2011.html
This past year, more than ever, I have found myself full of gratitude for the abundant blessings in my life. I am especially grateful for my family. Even if we are that crazy family with a bunch of loud, little kids with sticky faces and messy, uncombed hair. Crazy is my new normal. But along with crazy comes fun, and I couldn’t be more grateful for my fun, crazy life. Gabriella is breezing through first grade with her usual exuberance and confidence. She loves running and swimming. We have had many, man...

I'm a bit behind with blogging, house cleaning, ironing, laundry, CHRISTMAS. . .most everything in my life. I've been working for the Christmas season at Nordstrom and I'm exhausted. I'm a wimp, this I already know. So this is my lame attempt to catch up on my blog. I'll try to post more through out the week, please take note I said. Where to begin. . . ? But I just...

My Cup Runneth Over: Family Pictures on a budget
http://plsjeppson.blogspot.com/2011/11/family-pictures-on-budget.html
My Cup Runneth Over. Sunday, November 13, 2011. Family Pictures on a budget. So last year, and actually this year as well, we didn't have a photographer or the funds to get a photographer. We attempted our own family pictures with our handy dandy point and shoot camera. Oh and Pete's mad timer skills. Here are a few of our outtakes. It was pretty hilarious, mostly to us. One of those you had to be there. . . .I guess. But hey, in the end one worked out and the Christmas cards got out on time.

Friday, January 29, 2010. Valentines Day and ANA. So the ANA don't focus on safety as much as they focus on ease. The riders on this humvee were all laughing when they went over bumps and almost got thrown off. We weren't laughing. I was about to get some work. Here is an ANA soldier hanging from a large hook. What is there to say? Valentines Balloon I got in the care package below. This is From Shannon. Though slightly ripped in transportation the feelings came through. Shannon loves this stuff. The con...
