Tunebot dataset

Project is an online Query by Humming. What is the Tunebot Dataset? The dataset is a collection of 10,000 sung contributions to the Tunebot search engine. Each contribution is a recording of a contributor singing a song to Tunebot. In addition to the 10,000 contributions, there is an associated Google spreadsheet to look up the artist, album, and song for any file. There are four columns in the spreadsheet:. The name of the song that the contributor sang. The name of the album this song is a part of.

This page hosts all the data collected by SocialReverb. A project by Northwestern University Interactive Audio Lab. SocialReverb is a project to crowdsource a vocabulary of audio descriptors for reverberation. We can use the data collected to map these words onto actions that can be taken by a parametric reverberator. HaptEQ is a research project conducted by Aaron Karp. In Northwestern's Interactive Audio Lab. Under the mentorship of Dr. Bryan Pardo. HaptEQ was created to aid visually impaired musicians and producers to intuitively create EQ input in a method that has previously been unavailable to them. Additionally, this tool has proven to be useful and fun for sighted users, and has possible applications in education for teaching about frequencies and equalizers.
