http://tuckerthewunderkind.blogspot.com/2015/07/suddenly-farm-esdctaecrda-horse-show.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. Suddenly Farm ESDCTA/ECRDA Horse Show. So I headed to the outdoor, checked Equitests one more time to make sure I knew what letter the 15m canter circles are at, and I was ready and trotting around the outer edge of the arena as soon as the rider before me did her final salute. This time I will not be caught off guard with an early bell! So let's talk about what went right! And I even touched him with my whip in the right-to-left and he didn't have a melt down. His trot lengthe...

Horse Crazy in Ohio: Winter - GO AWAY!
http://spotteddrafterinohio.blogspot.com/2014/02/winter-go-away.html
Horse Crazy in Ohio. My life as a horse-crazy, single mom. Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Winter - GO AWAY! Is winter over yet? I normally LOVE the cold, the snow, the grey.but even I have had enough at this point. We have had multiple days of subzero highs, and that isn't counting the wind chill values. Speaking of the bird feeders, birds have been coming in droves to my feeders. My cats are quite enjoying the show! Trails are the place to be! And this face, could it get any cuter? Happy Winter, all! Proje...

http://spotteddrafterinohio.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Horse Crazy in Ohio. My life as a horse-crazy, single mom. Saturday, June 16, 2012. Details to follow, but I did in fact make it through the Relay for Life 5k in one piece! Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Update on Me, Running! I guess when I first started this blog, I figured I'd be much more active on it. The problem is that I seem to have the attention span of a gnat sometimes, and I'm much more interested in everyone else's blogs! Also, my final court date was 5/31/12 - I'm single, woo! Lol) I still have m...

Tack and Equipment Reviews. Tack and Equipment Reviews. I like horse stuff. I have a thing for strap goods, boots, and grooming equipment, but I like all kinds of stuff. I might as well make it useful- once in a while, I will try to post a review of something I own to help inform the blogosphere and my readers. Here's a list of reviews already done. Dressage Sport Boots review. FITS Zephyr Coat/Ogilvy Profile Pad/Charles Owen JR8 review. Royal Sports Bridle Review. Back on Track Dressage Saddle Pad.

SprinklerBandits: Jumping a Sane Horse (who's maybe even broke)
http://iamthesprinklerbandit.blogspot.com/2015/07/jumping-sane-horse-whos-maybe-even-broke.html
Tack and Equipment Reviews. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Jumping a Sane Horse (who's maybe even broke). I talked last week about how I was basically trying to bore Courage to death with lots of tiny jumps. Well, good news: it's working. Courage is always super fun to photograph because he believes ALL jumps are 3'6" and clears them accordingly. Thus, I could set teeny courses and still get spectacular shots because of how green he was. I think that's over with. For once. Ha! And i'm releasing. that helps.

SprinklerBandits: 6 West Coast Facts for East Coast Riders
http://iamthesprinklerbandit.blogspot.com/2015/07/6-west-coast-facts-for-east-coast-riders.html
Tack and Equipment Reviews. Friday, July 31, 2015. 6 West Coast Facts for East Coast Riders. For your convenience, I include a map. I was reading this article on Eventing Nation. Yesterday, and one quote in particular struck me as so funny that I sent it to local friends to share the laugh. Here's the quote about a rising young pro:. That's right, folks- 1 hour and 42 minutes counts as some sort of bold career move to a remote and far off place. Since when did that count as "far away"? Like, way. I l...

SprinklerBandits: Hakuna Matata
http://iamthesprinklerbandit.blogspot.com/p/hakuna-matata.html
Tack and Equipment Reviews. A 1995 model OTTB ( pedigree here. Came to me in the early spring of 2012. He was the right horse at the right time- packing me over little fences until I could do it without freezing in the fetal position and wanting to die. We jumped. We trail rode. We galloped. We played. We showed. We won. I wanted to bring him back and dominate the local circuit again, but his happiness and health were more important to me than any ribbon at any show (even a neck ribbon). Disappointment&#...

Gracie and Allie: February 2015
http://allieandgracie.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, 22 February 2015. Life just keeps trundling along. Pregnancy is getting harder and harder and harder by the hour. I'm 39 weeks and 3 days today. Due next Thursday. I don't get up to much these days. Generally, I drag myself out of bed, drive to feed the horses, come home and nap all day on the lounge with the cats and the dog until Andrew gets home and then we have dinner and I attempt to sleep in my bed (which doesn't really work much). Lovingly written with care by. Links to this post. I think ...

Horse Crazy in Ohio: May 2012
http://spotteddrafterinohio.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Horse Crazy in Ohio. My life as a horse-crazy, single mom. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. I've been reading everyone's blogs, although not really commenting (sorry! But it's been pretty quiet here. Nothing new with Jetta - I actually haven't ridden since Easter. How on earth is that possible? But, this past weekend was a big one, I moved her back to the "heaven on earth" or "taj mahal" barn. I really need to get pictures of the facility, it's just so awesome. So, without further ado.pictures! As she used to be in:.
