Always an Adventure: November 2014
http://dmjensen.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 2, 2014. We had more visitors in September, Alan's sister Lara and her family came to visit. We had ice cream cake in honor of the two September birthdays and Alan had them playing dead fish or something while waiting for their goodies to be scooped up. Digging our fire pit, what would a visit to our house be if we didn't do some kind of yard work right? The kiddos sure did love roasting hot dogs and making smores once it was done! Well and Naomi just liked playing in the dirt! We went t...

Reeder Family: Derek's 1st Birthday
http://joelandmelissareeder.blogspot.com/2009/10/dereks-1st-birthday.html
Thursday, October 15, 2009. Joel made waffles for breakfast, waffles topped with butter, syrup, and powdered sugar. I usually will just give Derek a plain waffle without any toppings so he liked daddy's alot better. The older kids insisted on "helping" to open the presents and I had to put the camera down to ward off all the little hands. Here is Derek with his cake. He wasn't quite sure what was going on. Here is the aftermath. Happy birthday Derek! He is so adorable! October 15, 2009 at 8:44 PM.

Reeder Family: Rachel's Party
http://joelandmelissareeder.blogspot.com/2009/09/rachels-party.html
Tuesday, September 8, 2009. We had a family party for Rachel. Rachel chose our plans so we went swimming and ordered pizza. This is a close up of her princess cake. I'm proud of how it turned out. I thought this picture was funny. Derek wasn't a fan of being pulled around the kiddie pool. The Christensens joined us for the festivities. You did great on her cake too! September 9, 2009 at 8:53 PM. The cake turned out sooo cute! Good job. I bet Rachel loved it. October 16, 2009 at 10:33 PM.

Counting our blessings, instead of sheep: August 2013
http://keithandjessie.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Counting our blessings, instead of sheep. Keith thought I was just being creative with this title. Not so.it's the name of a song in one of my favorite movies, White Christmas. My favorite song from that film is The Best Things Happen While Your Dancing, but that didn't fit for us. Hence, the sheep :). Thursday, August 29, 2013. A very literary birthday. Next, we decorated purses. I found this pattern. We made a variety of sandwiches, which according to Fancy Nancy, are fancier with toothpicks in them.

Steph'a'scope: Dare I Hope?
http://stephascope.blogspot.com/2012/03/dare-i-hope.html
Thursday, March 1, 2012. The above photo is a significant view. One that I only get to see a few months of the year. The sun shining in my window. It was so bright and warm. I had to document it, no matter how silly. Dare I hope that Spring is coming soon? This momma couldn't take it if he were one of the ones being yelled at and crying every day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am your typical mom of four children. I love crafts, am crazy for crochet, and enjoy reading for fun as well as for e...

Steph'a'scope: TGIJ!
http://stephascope.blogspot.com/2011/06/tgij.html
Monday, June 20, 2011. Thank Goodness I Journal! I don't even remember things that happened a month ago except I see them here on my blog! Being a mom means donating your brain to your children I think. Averie had her 4th birthday. We were going to just have a party 2 days after her birthday, but Tim wanted to make her real birthday special too, and I am really glad he did. We had a lot of fun just planning and being together. Everyone got "shades" and ring pops. Here is Tim's present for Father's Day:.

Always an Adventure: May 2015
http://dmjensen.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 23, 2015. Work hard and play hard. No one can ever say that we haven't taught our children how to work! Look at our "big" helpers! They were so excited to help daddy scoop out the dirt for our new garden beds. We had to practically drag Naomi off the truck! It is not finished here but it took about 4 truck loads of dirt, but we got them done! Big girl on the swing all by herself! Is she really big enough to do this? Where did my baby go? Issac in his "adventure" hat. The boys were so much l...

Always an Adventure: rain, rain go away
http://dmjensen.blogspot.com/2015/07/rain-rain-go-away.html
Sunday, July 26, 2015. Rain, rain go away. Once it started raining in May It didn't stop until July! I was the camp director for our ward and this is what our garage looked like when we came home since I had no place to air out tarps and tents! Good thing we have a pretty open garage and a huge fan! Also so grateful to my mom who came out to help with the kids while I was gone and Alan was at work! The kids enjoying lunch at our favorite plant nursery! They have so many fun plants and they are so helpful!
