March 31, 2014. Ironman 70.3 California Oceanside Race Recap. Well, I did it! Despite the numerous hurdles life has given me. And my family over the last year and a half, this past weekend I crossed the finish line of my second-ever half-Ironman, the Ironman 70.3 California Oceanside. The first 70.3 distance. My (non) IM 70.3 California Oceanside Race Report. I would love to start this blog by telling you how I got to transition in the morning; set up, and headed out for a swim.
