A Little About Me. My Journey through life and as a Surrogate. Tips or tricks to IUI? August 13, 2015. August 27, 2015. I had my blood drawn this morning and boy did it hurt. Usually I have no problem donating blood or even plasma, but for some reason it hurt today. I made sure to drink lots of water yesterday so not sure what the deal was. Warm feet = warm uterus (wear socks). LOTS of water (room temp or warm). NO raw vegetables or grains. LOTS of protein (eggs! Pineapple for 5 days post IUI. Still wait...

Heart Mommy's Strawberry Shortcake. Disconcerting Silence →. It is pretty difficult to find support for parents whose kids have Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). Parents of “normal” kids just don’t get what we go through. I have heard it all from “She is just spoiled” to “You are too hard on her.” Unless you are a parent of a RADling, you really don’t quite get it…no matter how hard you try. There has to be a way to help parents before they get to the “give. But how can we better support each other?
