The Unraveling of my Perfectionism. The story of how a perfectionist is learning to cope with the mess that is parenthood. Monday, February 1, 2010. Well, I've made some changes, but not many. Here's how I'm doing so far in the new year. 1) Paying off the car. In January, I had $6,200 left. Now I have $3,700. Hot damn! 2) Losing ten pounds. Uh No budging on the scale. I've cut back significantly on wine and mochas. You know how my dad will sometimes give me money for my car? 3) Tone up arms and legs.

Today I'd like to highlight two of my favorite items, both given to me by my beloved paternal Grandma D. Here we are a few years ago at Christmas:. I'm very thankful to have two wonderful grandmothers in my life! The first item is this red orange dress. I have not even decorated with my Easter stuff. I haven't bought one single thing for the boys. I'm feeling very Easter Grinchy. It is very hard to teach the meaning of holidays to your children when you personally feel so conflicted about the truth behind the stories. I love people that have strong convictions about their faith. Back in the Day.
