I mean seriously no matter how many times I see it it never looses its magnificence or just plain cool factor. This particular photo wasn't taken on the 4th of July but I found it on my phone and really liked it, minus the tops of peoples heads in the bottom, but fixing it would require cropping and ain't nobody got time for that. Dees' friend Laura has the coolest mom ever, Therese, and she brought tons of delicious food and her French know how and found as an awesome spot to enjoy our picnic. Since most of us had already seen the chateau we just relaxed and enjoyed the sun while Emmanuella and Chloe went to go check out the palace of Versailles. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Day 7 and Beyond. Ok yes I was slack and not posting the final Day 7 of BC Bike Race! It was a short and sweet day and just as fun as the rest. We were sent off in waves today and we were in the first wave - perfect, with a climb up to mid station on Whistler mountain gave us a lead from the rest of the waves and a clean run down Crank It Up Trail with no congestion. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. My unit focuses on playground rules for first graders. I am going to include literature about recess, rules, etc. and how actions affect others. The standards used in my unit are Health, ELA, and Social Studies. Students will work on conflict resolution and understand how to take care of self and others (specifically on the the playground). EQ: How do my choices affect my life? UQ: What is safety? How do I prevent injuries? How do I stay safe? Why is safety important?
