http://troublerun.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Run away from Trouble. Sunday, August 30, 2015. Blue Line Training Run. After an exhausting week at school, I dragged my butt out of bed at 5 am on Saturday to prepare for the Blue Line Run, hosted by Vertical Runner. Group shot (well, what the photographer could fit in). Can you see me? Photo Credit: Christy Wilmoth. TORN Peeps before the run. Can you see me now? Coming across the Y-Bridge. Run away from Trouble: November 2014
http://troublerun.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Run away from Trouble. Sunday, November 30, 2014. Celebrating the Running Community. If you know me, you know that I really don't like people. I used to really enjoy being in a crowd, but being a teacher has taken its toll on my enjoyment of social interaction. Plus, I'm grumpy. This is EXACTLY how I look when I am a loner, a rebel. Thanksgiving Day I participated in my first Turkey Trot, Home Run for the Homeless, a four-miler in downtown Akron. It was a benefit for Gennesaret. Like what you read? Home ...

Run away from Trouble: I Overanalyze Everything
http://troublerun.blogspot.com/2015/07/i-overanalyze-everything.html
Run away from Trouble. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Ever since I wrote last week's post, I've been obsessing about speedwork and more specifically, my attempts at a tempo run. I've had three different people offer me advice, and I think it all comes down to the same thing: I've got to get my head straight. We all know that running is mental, and there is no greater proof of that than watching me drive myself and everyone around me crazy by talking about running. Still think I shouldn't be upset? I sucked it ...

Run away from Trouble: July 2015
http://troublerun.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Run away from Trouble. Sunday, July 26, 2015. This week I took it relatively easy, considering I did no speed work, no tempo run, and only ran 18 miles total. That doesn't mean it felt easy, though, because I spent the week walking an average of 8 miles a day in Boston. Yep, it was family vacation week. This is one of the many reasons for lots of walking: Mike's Pastry in the North End. Holy Cannoli! We always finished our evening stroll with coffee from Caffe Vittoria. The Swan Boats in Boston Commons.

Run away from Trouble: 12 Mile Boost
http://troublerun.blogspot.com/2015/08/12-mile-boost.html
Run away from Trouble. Sunday, August 2, 2015. It's no secret that I am battling a lack of running mojo lately. I smile, I show up, I do the run, I do the strength training, but I'm just not feeling confident. Neither one of these seems to work lately. It's also no secret that some of this lack of confidence probably stems from dealing with my father's death in June, something with which I really haven't come to terms. ( Read my post about it here. Mandy, that's who, but she's just a damned kid. This...

Run away from Trouble: April 2015

Run away from Trouble. Sunday, April 26, 2015. Pro Football Hall of Fame Gold Jacket 5k Recap. Saturday I ran the Gold Jacket 5k in Canton, and it was a great time! The race started at 8:00 AM, and there was plenty of parking, so Joy and I were able to leave my house at 6:30 and still get to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in plenty of time to use the bathroom a few times and warm up. Hanging out before the race. Can you see me? Photo Credit: Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon. Course (fast), bathrooms (mo...

Run away from Trouble. Sunday, June 21, 2015. Race Recap: WV RAGNAR Trail Race. I've only been home for less than a day, and my head is still spinning. Jenn has informed me that I'm suffering from this:. For the past few weeks, I have been consumed with preparing for my first trail race, the Ragnar Trail Appalachians Relay. We dropped off our gear at our Tent and then we had to shuttle back to the Village. The line was huge, so the women next to us got the bright idea to hitchhike with incoming racer...

Run away from Trouble: February 2015

Run away from Trouble. Sunday, February 22, 2015. That's right, Peeps! This week I get to reward you for sticking with me by offering up a chance at a free race entry for the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon. First, you'll have to read about my trail run, though. This is EXACTLY how I look when I'm relieved I can stop to pose for a picture. Oh, and this is Darrel and Renee. Photo credit: Cassie Baldwin. Mr Tumnus is waiting on the other side of the bridge.
