Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Earlier this spring, we decided it was time for swingset! I researched all the options and found a great deal on a swingset that we were sure would come in handy for years to come. Sweet Pea's first remark upon catching a glimpse of it: "My new park! Wow I never really thought of it in those terms.a PARK in her OWN backyard! That must be pretty awesome for a little one! Poppa as resident swing pusher extraordinaire. Peanut doing what she does best.relaxing in her swing!

Growing Sweet Pea-nuts: STOP licking your sister, please!!!
http://growingsweetpeanuts.blogspot.com/2011/05/stop-licking-your-sister-please.html
Monday, May 16, 2011. STOP licking your sister, please! These are words that I never dreamt would be coming out of my mouth. This afternoon I was sitting holding little Peanut after nursing her. We were having a precious little moment when her big sister decided reading was a bore. She looked up from her books and sweetly proclaimed, "Momma, I. I told her thank you as she hopped off the couch and headed closer to us. Hovering over Peanut's head, she looked up at me with big hazel eyes, and I.

Growing Sweet Pea-nuts: October 2011
http://growingsweetpeanuts.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 13, 2011. Back to the BLOG! Well, it's been a BUSY, fun-filled several months since I last posted about Sweet Pea and Peanut. The more time passed, the more difficult it seemed to catch up! We've had birthdays, vacations, visitors, soccer and all sorts of milestones at our house. All in all, we have been having a great time. Sothe question is, why post. As we were driving, Sweet Pea sat quietly in the back seat with her ice cream cone. There are not many moments of silence with this...

I want the girls to have a snapshot of what our daily lives entail with a sprinkling of maternal perspective and advice! I hope it is something they will be able to look back on one day and laugh, cry and even poke a little fun at one another (or me)! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Never planned to homeschool. Growing Sweet Pea-nuts: April 2011
http://growingsweetpeanuts.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. Well, the day had come.eventhough our Peanut isn't even nine months old yet, it was time for the. Both of our girls have been blessed with an abundance of hair from birth. Despite my lack of heart burn during pregnancy, it still grew and grew and grew. It's true.we have. Our Peanut was a rockstar during her trim. Not a single tear. Not one. And she did not require cookies to maintain composure like her big sister did at that age! Getting the first few snip-its. While it is not u...

Growing Sweet Pea-nuts: May 2011
http://growingsweetpeanuts.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Our Peanut is growing like a WEED! At the first of this month, I took our "little" Peanut in for her 9 month checkup. WOW! She's not so little anymore. Weighing more than 20 pounds, she is in the 75th percentile for weight. If my biceps are looking uncharacteristically toned, I have Peanut to thank! Of the time, with the exception of being hungry and/or tired. She loves watching her sister do ANYthing! Peanut is also an excellent sleeper! She wakes between 7-7:30 in the morning a...
