GT stands for giant trevally and this little board is like its name sake fast and chunky, usually shaped thick and wide it's a top board for the bigger guy, but can be trimmed down for the grommets. Inspired by the classic Skip Frye fish who copied it off Steve Liss, I think! This board is being made by everybody now, available in Quad Form or the classic keel twin fin. The big boys.fuller outline and big volume, for the heavier surfer who is not into longboards. Single fin designs from my old Summercloud templates short to guns. Another big boy design, or a great addition to a longboard quiver, fluted flyer, pulls in the tail and gives possitive turning, basically a very big shortboard. 7' to 7' 4". Classic pintail planshape, creating a hip that sits between your feet when turning, concave nose, running to spiral V with chine rail, the FP is a smooth turning longboard, moderate volume and wide planshape give excellent stability and paddle power. The islander has some nimbus DNA, narrower in planshape it still shares the same bottom shape, however the bottom curve is much more pronounced.more nose and til lift, together with the narrower outline make the islander very comfortable in larger surf.
