We love the style and design of it but have been adding our own touches here and there and have come up with a long project list! This was how our house looked when we bought it. Our Modern 50's Pad. Thursday, March 19, 2015. It's amazing the difference drywall makes! You can see the new locations of the vents! We had the doors and vents covered with plastic but dust managed to get through the old soffit. You can barely tell this used to be 2 rooms! Glad that soffit is gone! Sean was careful when removing the floors. You can see where the cabinets were because there isn't any black glue left behind! To cover up the old glue we had to put a new plywood subfloor.

It looks great but hopefully it will be durable and take the paint spills and physical abuse that Ben has in store for it. What a boring old wall. I don't have anything against trees but this one was all dead in the middle and was too close to the house for comfort. Our Modern 50's Pad. Saturday, April 4, 2015. Old Kitchen Reno is Complete! I am so excited about the craft room/ play room/ studio being finished! I love how big and open this room is and that it is really a blank slate for me to decorate and utilize! Our house only had 2 bedrooms and we basically added another. Plus construction is over? I am in love! My favorite part so far? That giant, amazing, sweet wardrobe! This is the view from the other side- I am so impressed with how well this turned out!

I used full-size Gamecube cases for this instead of the thin DVD cases I was planning because it was easier to fit a somewhat larger picture on them. Here's what the final results look like:.
