Wednesday, October 12, 2011. We decided to take a trip up to Utah for fall break this year. Mike's brothers (Jon and Jeff) live there and the kids love to play with their cousins! We got to see so much and all had such a fun time together - here are just a few things we did! We stopped by the Valley of Fire in Nevada on the way to Utah - the kids LOVED hiking around there. The rocks and powdery sand were dark orange - it was beautiful! There were petroglyphs all over the rocks there! The Love of my Life!

The Keckley's est. 2001. Port Royal, SC. We found a very small apartment to rent (on a month-to-month basis) in Port Royal, SC. The apartment is furnished so all we had to do was bring our clothes. The Keckley's est. 2001. After visiting the Penn Center museum of St. Helena, SC we went to Fort Fremont. It was very cool to be able to climb on the old fort. Saturday, April 17, 2010. Ok, we're terrible parents who won't let our kids get a pet. (I've got enough on my hands) So, Allyson and Audrey had to resort to keeping a beetle (named Riley) as a pet instead of a dog or cat. They made a house for him, got him food, and played with him all day yesterday. Sadly, Riley has passed away - he didn't last long! When Mike and I went outside we found this grave marking. (Audrey made it - "Riley died") It's so cute, I ALMOST want to get them a pet! Links to this post.

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Joshua's 4th Grade Play. He looks really happy to be up there, deosn't he - of course this could be when Jacob decided to start yelling and Josh is looking for him! Joshua was a merchant in his 4th grade school play (about the CA gold rush). He had to square dance with a girl (which he "acted" humiliated about), but none of those pics turned out.
