Abacus is a colaborative project aiming to write software which can be used to replace PC. With, which is used to run the ACM IPSC regionals on every year. This is a fully functional portknock server and client, implemented in C/C . It hasn't been worked on in a while since it is the authors opinion that portknocking, whilst usefull, is more bothersome that what it's worth. This program was written as support for a paper written for the ISSA. A centralised distfiles fetching system for Gentoo Linux.

Periodically I write patches against GPL software to make them function more like what I would like them to. The ones I want to make public I post here. This patch is in mainline kernel now. It was written to work around a buggy usb-storage implementation in the GNX4 guitar effects processing unit from Digitech.
