We all worked outside to spruce up the yard. Here is the garden crew! Todd said this year he has the soil just right and he feels good about our vegetable season to come! The other day Avery came down stairs in her pirate gear. So here we all are. You will now see a new flag flying at the Horman's house. It was a bumpy ride.

Monday, December 28, 2009. I am pretty sure that it doesn't get any better than watching your kids on Christmas:) I was loving it this year- aside from the minor glitch of pierce's surgery (adnoids and tonsils out) a week before Christmas- I couldn't have asked for anything more! If every day was Christmas I could easily have 10 kids.but luckily there is the day after to knock me back to reality:) Here are some of the highlights. The boys working on the awesome batman castle- thanks auntie K and uncle B!

Friday, February 12, 2010. Superheroes, an ending, catching up, and Pierce turns 4! I did not know for sure if this day would come, but now that it has it has been totally worth it:). We also celebrated pierce's fourth birthday! I am so glad I have such an awesome family that my son can't get enough of and who love him so much:) Once again it was a blast and it was spiderman and batman on the cake (of course). He is such an angel and he keeps getting more and more fun with every year! Ah, brotherly love:).

Monday, May 25, 2009. Do Not Do This. As I peeled the clove (a big one, naturally) I was already tabulating how much I would be saving by eating raw garlic vs. the bottled tablets. I cleverly bit into the clove like an apple and began to chew with confidence, arrogance. And then- whoa. Wait, whoa, that burns. That really, wow. I knew it would sting but. Ok, it's, well, ok it's managable. I'll just swallow really fast. Ok, another. Go. Ooph, ok chew. Ow. Chew! Gulp And again. Bite. AAH! Are you kidding me?

And here you have it! Monday, January 14, 2008. You can bank on it! The comic relief that my kids provide! Today I was driving my son to his school when we stopped at a red light. Out Natalie's window there was a crew busy working on constructing a bank. This is how the conversation went:. Mommy: "They're building a new bank.". William: "Is that a bank we can go to? Mommy: "No. We go to a different bank.". William: "Yes, Natalie. We go to a Mormon Bank. That is a Catholic Bank.". Posted by Christa O'Brien.
