Monday, August 3, 2015. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Aka LDS or Mormon). I have the opportunity to work with the young women of our unit (called a ward) from ages 12 - 18. And no matter how hard my calling. Is, I love the girls I work with and the other leaders! I will write more later with more details, but I had to share these pictures for Alex's birth family to enjoy - since we got a kick out of it! One of the things we got to do was work in the Genealogical Library.

Sunday, September 21, 2014. Bowling and disco lights at 3 am. Let me start this post with a clarification that I am writing this with a sarcastic tone. I am being snarky, silly, imaginative; however you want to say it I am really not angry with my angel boys! No, I wasn't bowling in the middle of the night! The only thing I'm doing at 3 am is either sleeping or wishing I was asleep. But I have two grandsons who thought it would be a great time for a bowling game. It shook the house! It scared the animals!

Thursday, August 29, 2013. In the heat of my blubbering and the pity party I threw myself yesterday, I also threw Daddy Ernie and Mommy Dana under the bus. I have changed the previous post to still address my concerns, but hopefully without sounding like I'm placing the blame on anyone. Daddy Ernie - you were a kid and yet you took the responsibility - and continue to take responsibility -as Alex's birth father! You are a kind, caring man and we are so lucky to have you and your family in our lives!

Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Now that Al is 18 he needed to get a picture ID. It was so weird walking into the DMV with him! Seeing all these other teens there to get their license - he felt like he was just where he needed to be. I didn't tell him the difference between their cards! And he has been told he can't get his license until he's as tall as his brothers. (Not gonna happen! There was hardly a wait at all! We went to the Draper location instead of West Valley. Will definitely go there from now on!

Tuesday, November 4, 2014. It's November and once again I realize how behind I am in writing on my blog; I have a new family picture I need to add. I REALLY need to update the grandkids' birthday tickers. But what I'm actually doing is sitting up at nights to make sure Alex wears his oxygen! I shouldn't complain, in fact I should congratulate all of us! So he's home again, today. Since he's been home, he's got me hooked on. It's a good, clean show! Did I mention in my last post why Alex is on oxygen?
