Hilights of the week- July 7th. 8212; by Alison @ 8:07 pm. 1 Canada Day was celebrated with friends and cake. 2 Visited the local wading pool, kids loved it and I enjoyed chatting with friends. 3 Tried jam skating (dancing on skates) Friday night. Hilights of the week- July 28th. 8212; by Alison @ 8:50 pm. 1 Spent the morning climbing trees, visiting with friends and checking out the wading pool at Volunteer Park. 2 H was more excited about preschool camp and morning drop-off went very smoothly. 3 Good bye lunch with a friend. It has been such a treat to see her daughter grow over the past year. 4 Had odd compliments/encouragement regarding my derby skills. Still happy that my improvement has been noticed. May 6, 2013. Hilights of the week- May 5th. 8212; by Alison @ 7:43 pm. 1 There is sun and warmth. The weather was so beautiful this week. I sat by the canal and watched boats go by. 2 I bought my new skates with my birthday money. I can’t wait to try them out. 3 Went for Caribbean sandwiches at Paseo. I can’t believe I had never been before, it was incredible. 4 Having tea with Jess always makes my week better. She really helped reset my week and put it. What was the hilight of your week?

July 23, 2013. Hilights of the week- July 21st. 8212; by Alison @ 12:13 pm. 1 Visited the zoo and learnt all about the baby small clawed river otters. We didn’t go see the birds on a friend’s recommendation. 2 E was a helper at preschool camp, and both kids had a very fun morning. 3 Root beer floats with Jess was a lovely way to spend the afternoon, and she was very gracious after I left her on the front porch for 20 minutes. 5 Got some positive feedback and compliments at practice on Saturday. The wedding was amazing and so much fun. 2 Spent the beginning of the week with family. My Scottish cousins were in town and are such fun. Hilights of the week- April 28th. 8212; by Alison @ 3:27 pm. 1 My parents were here all week. 2 We saw baby lion cubs at the zoo, and all sorts of other animals. 3 Actually went out on a date night with Dan. We had dinner and dessert and even saw a movie. 4 IKEA has started selling their marzipan treats again. I may have eaten a whole tray of them over the weekend. 5 Went back to a PFM for the first time in nearly 2 weeks, it was fun to skate with that group again. Much thanks to Ann.
