Thursday, 26 July 2007. Indigenous people in danger. Bad news for the Hadza hunter gatherer tribe of Tanzania, one of the last peoples living in harmony with their surroundings, will be evicted from their land because rich arabs bought the hunting rights for their lands from the government. GuNNiX' Outdoor: Wilderness living
http://gunnix.blogspot.com/2007/05/wilderness-living.html
Thursday, 3 May 2007. My blog goes about living wild. Enjoying experiences in which we get a glimpse of how life was for our prehistoric ancestors. Our life today is very remote from this distant past. We enjoy certain comforts which our predecessors didn't have but we also miss the clean and unpopulated nature which existed before. Caledonian Tracking: Cappadocia and ancient preppers.
http://stalk-like-an-apache.blogspot.com/2013/04/cappadocia-and-ancient-preppers.html
A blog about a Scotsmans journey as a tracker and backwoodsman who is expanding his skill sets. Friday, April 12, 2013. Cappadocia and ancient preppers. After about 20 days traveling we found ourselves arriving in Goreme. We arrived at night and it felt like we had landed on another planet. The silhouettes of the buildings with the lights shining from the windows was very eerie. While we were there we went to visit the ancient underground cities in Derinkuyu. This really flies in the face of hording load...

Thursday, 20 May 2010. All wood was sawn from slabs of wood. In the picture above the spruce planking is planed to a thickness of 4mm. The plane wasn't of the best quality so the wood had to be pushed and pulled through it. Afterwards the planks were sanded with a belt sander. Drawing the middle line. The ribs are steamed, bent and nailed fast on the inner railing. Especially the ribs at the ends are difficult because of the tight curve, several ribs tend to brake before finding a good one.

No Knead Bread also, I have discovered, is endlessly adaptable and permits almost endless neglect and error and still comes out wonderful. A quick google search will get you more brilliant cooks’ adaptations than mine, but here’s my version, with smart remarks available exclusively here:. 1 cups warm water. Don’t Buy It: Moisturizer. Survival in the Wasteland: January 2013
http://survivalinthewasteland.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Survival in the Wasteland. Thursday, January 24, 2013. Thoughts on arts and crafts pt.1. The way we make things is very important to us. We strive for beauty and functionality in everything we craft, and we long for a return to beauty in the things we use everyday. Following are thoughts on arts and crafts that i simply couldn't have stated more clearly, so i'll echo th' words of th' late Soetsu Yanagi as translated by Bernard Leach, from the book The Unknown Craftsman. The Facts have to be faced concern...
