A little glimpse of what we are doing out here in the burbs. Monday, September 12, 2011. Time flies when you are building a house! Isn't that the saying? Maybe not. But, time really does fly when you are building a house. One week we had a big cement hole.the next week, we have an entire house. The original estimated closing date is in just 1 month.though we assume it will get delayed a little bit. This is what the house looked like last week. Eric Marking His Territory. Eww, not really.

A little glimpse of what we are doing out here in the burbs. Sunday, December 19, 2010. Christmas In New York. Christmas in New York is.magical:). That sounds so cliche, I know. However, it is true! I don't know that pictures will translate the magic, but it's worth a shot! Ornaments have become a tradition of ours, seeing as Eric proposed with one. This ornament will be a great reminder of our first year of marriage! Here we are, exactly a year ago, getting engaged! We look pretty much the same, huh?

Thursday, July 05, 2012. Sam has been obsessed with baseball this summer. He loves to watch the movie Sandlot, and Rookie of the Year. We have taken several walks to the baseball diamonds behind our house to watch the "baseball boys." We purchased his first glove, and frequently play catch in the backyard. Playing in the backyard this spring. So, when the opportunity arose to take him to a minor league baseball game (for free! We couldn't pass it up! Sam and his buddy Rowan very excited for the game!

Wednesday, August 29, 2012. A few weekends ago, we had absolutely nothing going on. No plans for an entire weekend, and this momma was super excited! We started out our Saturday morning with breakfast out, and then decided to go hiking. This summer was so stinkin' hot that we hardly spent any time outside. Saturday was nice, not too hot, with a decent breeze. We drove up to a park nearby that has a 1.5 mile hiking trail along the river. Sam has his hiking stick, and he's ready to go! This Land is Our Land.
