Cooking Frenzy Week 1. I’ve been in a cooking frenzy lately. Here’s a look at what I made this week. I will share some of the recipes when I have more time to post. Meantime, enjoy the pictures. Steam buns with vege filling. Two tone mantou or steam buns which I made for the kids. No bake cheesecake. I really love this one. One Response so far. August 21, 2012 at 8:05 am. I have been on a cooking frenzy too and that’s because the kid has major food allergies. Survived the first week though LOL.

Friday, 19 March 2010. WALNUT, OLIVE, CHEESE AND POTOTO CIABATTA BREAD. MASTER RECIPE FOR CIABATTA BREAD. By chef of foodwishes. 3 1/2 cup white flour. 1/2 cup wholemeal flour. 1 1/2 tsp salt. 2 cups of lukwarm water. Chopped walnuts, cooked and grated potatoes,. Chopped black olives, grated cheese. After 18 hours punch down the dough with a spatula to take the air out. Grease baking sheet with oil and sprinkle with cornmeal generously. Posted by Fahriye's Kitchen. Friday, 16 October 2009. 3 cups plain flour. 2 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1 cup vegetable oil. 2 cups chopped fresh figs. Sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling. Sieve the flour with, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs, add sugar, milk , oil and beat well. Pour the wet mixture to the flour little at a time to make a soft pourable cake mix. Fold the figs in and pour the mixture in a oiled tin. Friday, 26 February 2010. PIZZA WITH SELECTION OF TOPPINGS. I like making this pizza because everyone can have what topping they want on their slice, either vegetarian, meat or fish. Today i used prawns, mushrooms and peppers and spicy sausage for this pizza. First make a dough with 200 g flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp yeast, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp olive oil and 150 ml warm water. Tuesday, 26 May 2009. APPLE AND YOGURT FACE CLEANSER. 2 tbsp natural yogurt. Half an apple peeled and sliced. 1 tsp lemon juice. 5 drops of lavender essential oil. 10 drops of rosemary MT. 2 tsp runny honey or maple syrup. 1 tsp rice flour or corn flour. Place slices of apples, yogurt, honey, lemon juice in a blender and make a pulp. Add the rice flour with a spoon and mix. Mix lavender and rosemary drops and stir. Massage the mixture over the face then rinse thoroughly with warm water. 150 g ince irmik.

Sunday, 31 January 2010. BEZDIRME ( TURKISH FLAT BREAD ). If you made your dough for making filo pastry ( yufka ) and you felt you couldn't do it, why not use the dough and make flat bread. ( Also known as bazlama and bezdirme ). Roll each dough with the rolling pin about 25 cm in diameter and cook both sides on a preheated non stick frying pan on a medium heat. Monday, 12 April 2010. PARTY FOOD (RICE WITH CHICKEN,SPICY SAUSAGE& PRAWNS). This dish is always a favorite when family and friends get together for special occasions. it is very similar to paella but made with basmati rice and Turkish spicy sausage SUCUK. It is a kind of feel good dish that so nice to make. I serve it as a main mail with salad or one of the hot dishes at a party. Then chop 1-2 large ONIONS and brown them in oil in a large frying pan or wok. Transfer chicken tights into the wok.
