My Fight to Understand and Outlive Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. July 14, 2011. One week ago yesterday was my first chemo treatment. After everything I had heard and read, I expected it to be awful. But what surprised me the most was how powerful and effective it seems to be. After only one treatment, eating is much less painful, my arm is out of the sling and seems fine, even the rib that was very sore seems completely normal now. Infusing on the first day of chemo. Happy to be done with the second day.

26 year old law student trying to get rid of Hodgkins Disease. Just got great news from my doctor…I can end my chemo early! I’m ending my 3rd cycle of ABVD today and will need just one more cycle. I’m lined up to be done the day before Thanksgiving. I have plenty to be thankful for this year. My amazing wife who stood by me through this nightmare.
