Got into the zucchini leaves and the beans, which I am not too excited about as there were NO beans on them, no blooms, don't know what that was all about and my lovely peppers, they ate the top off the plant and all the little blooms coming on. If I am going to be serious about this garden thing, I have GOT to get fencing up! They don't like the potatoes tho. a good thing? Take Care. I am trying.

August 5, 2015. Just a couple more weeks remain in our summer break. I can feel how we're all starting to crave that structure that comes with formal school time, but not just yet. We're headed out on a road trip for most of September, so my plan is to have a short unit touching on some of the topics we'll encounter on our trip - the civil war! Here are 8,000 for your viewing pleasure! With 3,500 other kids. A lot, which none of the rest of us can do very well. Enjoy the rest of summer! I know we will!

Thursday, August 4, 2011. A few weeks ago the company my Dad works for had a party at Alabama Adventure. He invited all of us to go. Lucas was absolutely loving his life. We put on his floatie and off he went! They have an awesome kiddie area. The water is just deep enough for parents to sit in and still not be over the kid's heads. We could hardly keep up with him. They had these slides that he loved and one of us would be at the bottom and one of us at the top and he just went over and over again.
