http://ahfeehan.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Not ready for aarp. Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Still Happy After 35 Years! A lot has changed since I last posted! We retired last spring, and moved to Nipomo. We help Rhiannon with the grandkids. Rhiannon has four kiddos, and Calvin and Kelli and a baby boy. Marty and I celebrated our 35th anniversary yesterday, and I made this video to celebrate. I'm not happy with the quality of this video, but I can't get a better one to upload. Enjoy on a small screen. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

not ready for aarp: December 2011
http://ahfeehan.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Not ready for aarp. Friday, December 30, 2011. I Wished Me a Sucky Christmas. Goodness, I sure caused a fuss when I posted that this Christmas sucked! I love my friends and family who prayed for us, and I appreciate all the cheer-up thoughts. I also enjoyed those who understand and empathized with me, maybe even agreed with me. Marty tells me I always have extremely high expectations for Christmas. I thought I lowered expectations for this Christmas, but maybe I still had high hopes. When I teach I give ...

The Schmidts: Surprise!
http://jasonschmidt.blogspot.com/2011/07/surprise.html
Monday, July 18, 2011. Surprise baby #4 is due Valentine's Day 2012. We had our first prenatal appointment today and got to see the little peanut's beating heart and waving hands. I didn't have an early ultrasound with the first three, so we were pleasantly surprised and delighted that we got to see this one so soon. What a miracle to see the baby's limbs, heart, and head at just 10 weeks! Ha, ha, God is much greater then spermicide and breastfeeding. We got our answer loud and clear. I have been a littl...

http://jasonschmidt.blogspot.com/2012/02/declans-birth-story-declan-was-due-on.html
Saturday, February 18, 2012. Declan was due on Valentine's Day—the 10 year anniversary of mine and Jason's first date. Even though I have never been before my due date, I had a feeling that this time I might be. On Saturday, February 4. During the car ride my contractions slowed again down to five minutes apart, but they were still getting stronger. We arrived at French at 9:30. After getting settled into our room they checked me at 9:45 and I was only dilated 1-2 cm. Frustrating! For all three of my oth...

In Every Season: February 2010
http://kristifuller.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 27, 2010. I love getting out into the city. venturing out with no place to go. Granted, I don't get to do it nearly as often as I'd like. In fact, today, I stayed inside all day resting and recooping from this long, busy week. A couple of kids on their way home from school. Most Ugandan schools require the students to wear uniforms. We'll see all different color combinations of uniforms as we're on our own way to school. A kikoi is a large, thin sheet of fabric that are very common to ...

http://kristifuller.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. Oh, what a beautiful morning! Even though I was almost late for my 8:00 "you should be here since you're a teacher, even though school doesn't start till 8:30" time, I was so glad that on one of my early-morning drives from SLO that I stopped and got some photos as the sun rose over the mountains and lit up this vineyard! This is just south of King City on the 101.). Friday, November 12, 2010. To play "catch up". Now, I have to say that even though I haven't actually PUBLISHED ...

In Every Season: April 2010
http://kristifuller.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Well, here I am. 3 days back into school and already I have stories to share. I have to say that my 6th graders are phenomenal. They have been a little stir-crazy being back in the classroom, but overall, they have been great. EVERY single one of them has done their homework this week, they all remember what we had learned about polygons from before break, and I couldn't be happier as their teacher! So I decided to go down on Tuesday after school. Also unfortunately, this story...

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Well, it's kind of old news by now, but I'll tell it again! I got a job! About two weeks ago, I received a call from a school up in Northern California (so sue me, I consider Monterey to be NorCal) asking if I'd be interested. In interviewing for a 2nd grade position that they had open. "Sure! I replied. Unfortunately, though, they were holding the. Interviews on Monday in front of a panel of people from the school district. Why is that unfortunate? Just a brief interlude. I h...

In Every Season: November 2009
http://kristifuller.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 20, 2009. My portion and my cup. At first, it wasn't a huge deal; little frustrations and inconveniences came here and there. I feel like I prayed half-heartedly about them, thinking that they'd just go away. not realizing that this was going to be a big way that Satan was going to wear me down and tear me away from God. Or do we prove our distrust that HE is in control, has every detail planned out, and has allotted us every event and circumstance we find ourselves in? Finally, brothers...
