ALTERING PERCEPTIONS, CHANGING OUTCOMES. My Personal dialogue with Abba Father. The Intimacy of Prayer. The Fellowship of Prayer. June 24, 2011. In my experience I have found that many people generally centre prayer on themselves and their needs. This in itself is not wrong but often they may become disillusioned when their prayers are not answered. Prayer is not entirely about ‘me’. When Jesus explained how we should pray [1]. Daily bread’ or ‘given them. When we pray we should remember we are part of s...

ALTERING PERCEPTIONS, CHANGING OUTCOMES. My Personal dialogue with Abba Father. How to stop worrying. The Intimacy of Prayer. PRAYER: SOME ‘NEW’ PERSPECTIVES. June 3, 2011. We are no longer servants but sons and daughters. Because we are sons and daughters we have an intimate Father not a distant God. Our sins past, present and future are forgiven and our Father sees us as righteous because of the work of Jesus. So what is prayer? Lastly, why do we pray? Most people only pray when they have or see a need...

ALTERING PERCEPTIONS, CHANGING OUTCOMES. My Personal dialogue with Abba Father. PRAYER: SOME ‘NEW’ PERSPECTIVES. The Fellowship of Prayer. The Intimacy of Prayer. June 16, 2011. Being able to call our Father in heaven ‘Abba’ means that we are not servants trying to please a master but that we are children with the rights of one born into the family. The right to live there, partake in family activities and the right to be protected, nurtured and loved. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

ALTERING PERCEPTIONS, CHANGING OUTCOMES. My Personal dialogue with Abba Father. August 2, 2011. Probably our biggest struggle in our prayer life is our expectancy of how Abba Father should fulfill our requests. This expectancy often leads to disappointment and unfortunately when we become disappointed we often stop praying and believing God. Both of these are contrary to what we should do. The Bible says that without faith it will not happen. [1]. I am not doing it right. God does not care. It is importa...

ALTERING PERCEPTIONS, CHANGING OUTCOMES. My Personal dialogue with Abba Father. Does God need to test us? May 18, 2011. One of the comments I often hear is, ‘God is testing me’ or ‘why is He testing me? If we believe that everything is a test, then we are most likely living in a state of anxiety and of inferiority.
