Land's End to John 'O' Groats Run in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support Centenary Year. This is the route that we used. Some of the stops were in lay-bys so we've named the closest village as the stopping point. Day 1 Land's End - Comford 21st March. Day 2 Comford - Cooksland 2 2nd March. Day 3 Cooksland - Meldon 23rd March. Day 4 Meldon - Bickleigh 24th March. Day 5 Bickleigh - North Petherton 25th March. Day 6 North Petherton - Flax Bourton. Day 7 Flax Bourton - Llandogo. Stockton Heath 31st March.

We managed to raise about 24000 for the LEJOG challenge and I got the 100 runners I was looking for to take part in the Cumbria run with me. We also raised about 20000 for that. Land's End to John 'O' Groats Run in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support Centenary Year. In 2011 Macmillan Cancer Support are celebrating their centenary year. To celebrate this and to raise the awareness of Macmillan I will be running from Land's End to John 'O' Groats. I am Gary McKee and I have been fundraising for Macmillan for the past 8 years. Other events I have completed include climbing Kilimanjaro, cycling across Brazil, trekking in New Zealand plus various marathons and half marathons.

George Walker, Alice Rolfe and Alex James do LEJOG. Just another WordPress.com site. Day 15 – Crask to John o’Groats. We only flippin finished didn’t we! We are now in our hostel after completing our 1007 mile bicycle ride! We left our hotel in the middle of nowhere at around 9. Today was 86 miles to the finish so we knew we had a biggy. We were joined by Les the Great and Matty the Adventurer and set off into a reasonable head wind. Were all feel a little loopy and it seems a bit surreal but its over!

LANDS END TO JOHN O'GROATS. On Saturday 22nd August 2009 4 friends from Exeter in Devon will attempt to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats. We aim to complete the challenge in 9 days. The total distance to be covered over the 9 days is 921 miles. We will have no back up support. We are staying in pre booked hotels and guest houses.
