At our August 5 meeting, the City Council will consider whether to place the ordinance on the November ballot. Should the Council vote to move forward, ballot arguments would have to be submitted by 5 pm on Friday, August 8, just three days later. Is a single public hearing adequate to study all the relevant issues? What will be the fiscal impact?
