Lilacs4Angels: Ironic?
http://lilacs4angels.blogspot.com/2014/01/ironic.html
Wednesday, January 1, 2014. I do hope everyone is safe. We've done a bit of rearranging of furniture and unpacking a few boxes today. Now it's time to take a break. I washed a blanket that hubby had picked up somewhere for Shivers (as if he doesn't already have enough blankets). When I was folding it I saw the label. I find it quite ironic that the blanket was made by the Faribault Woolen Mill Company, here in the USA. The label very clearly states that is is 100% ACRYLIC. Think it's time to go knit a bit.

Lilacs4Angels: February 2012
http://lilacs4angels.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Spring is in the air! Well it looks as though Spring is here! On our walk yesterday we passed by our local 'duck' pond. There were quite a few baby ducks swimming around. It's really too bad that the city pumped most of the water out. As you can see there were some who 'got away'. There were about 5 ducks walking along outside the fence. I don't know the species of this tree but isn't it beautiful? Links to this post. Friday, February 17, 2012. The Wall That Travels".

Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Just because she's beautiful. Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Meaner's Grandkids Get the Best of Her. I've been nagging Karen to bring over some of the finished projects she's made her great-grandbabies in the past. Here are some photos of a few things she made for great-grandson, Conner (who is a chip off the old block and could legitimately be dubbed "Meanerest" or "Lil' Mean"). The second one is a cool little baby blanket, stitched with a lot of love for the little begger.

Saturday, April 21, 2012. To labor is to pray. Motto of the Benedictines. Many, many people have asked me to sell or give them them a pair of Trudgers. I feel I'm a fairly generous person, but I don't sell or give away the Trudgers I make (except as gifts to close friends and relatives). This is a photo of a simple pair of socks with 48 stitches per sock making up each round. A Mexican Poppy in the garden. Mornings on the patio. The ability to see and use my hands.
