Knitting Muse: September 2009
http://knittingmuse.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Ramblings of a beader, knitter, reader, wife and mother. Comments are welcome! Wednesday, September 30, 2009. No chaos, no creation. Evidence: the kitchen at mealtime. Looking around my house, I must be very. Posted by Kathy N. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Knit Purl Gurl WEBS Giveaway. I love my bamboo knitting needles. I started buying them 20 plus years ago and am still knitting with them.except for 1 poor needle that Elvis "borrowed" for a chew toy (he was thoroughly yelled at for that). I kept that w...

Ramblings of a beader, knitter, reader, wife and mother. Comments are welcome! Thursday, May 20, 2010. I've finally finished a couple of loom knit designs. Both are scarves and the patterns can be found on my web site. Waves Long Scarf has been planned for months. I wanted to do a scarf with pointed ends. As I knitted it, I was inspired to make a neck gaiter too. I really like wearing neck gaiters. Need more of these. :). Posted by Kathy N. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Wednesday WIP and tornadoes. Knitting Muse: Knitting software recommendation
http://knittingmuse.blogspot.com/2010/07/knitting-software-recommendation.html
Ramblings of a beader, knitter, reader, wife and mother. Comments are welcome! Wednesday, July 28, 2010. I'm in love. Truly in love.with Intwined Pattern Studio. Software (think kniting charts). I've looked at chart producing software for awhile but wouldn't commit my money because there was always something. It couldn't do that I needed it to do. The most recent issue was over combining color and stitch - not one or the other. Intwined does that. Goodbye using Excel to make charts! Posted by Kathy N.
Knitting Muse: October 2009

Ramblings of a beader, knitter, reader, wife and mother. Comments are welcome! Sunday, October 25, 2009. Say hello to my little friend. Title is a quote from Scarface. Too much weight gain the past year. Probably stress. Regardless of the reason, I must do something to get myself moving again! Because of the ankle issue, I need low impact exercise. Recumbent exercise bike seemed to be the most convenient choice of low impact exercise. A little research brought this one to the top of the affordable. Plus ...

Krafty Kritter: First Post
http://kraftykritter1.blogspot.com/2006/02/first-post.html
Sunday, February 19, 2006. I've decided to separate my blog into two.keep the Livejournal for family-type posts, and put my craft stuff on this one. I'll be cross-posting when I post on either site. To start with, I want to post this baby blanket I made recently for my best friend Cindi's new baby boy! It's done in Tunisian Crochet Entralac:. I love this stitch. I'm thinking that a blanket for my sister's wedding gift is going to be next, after the Loom Knitting Olympics are over! Ooo, I love that!
Krafty Kritter: September 2006
http://kraftykritter1.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 01, 2006. That's from tabletop to floor.each block of colour is 30 rows tall. In a half hour. And it looks great! I really think that if I had enough colours and yarn (I need to pick up some "boy" colours like blue and green and a few more balls of white) and if I didn't have to got to work tonight, I think I could finish this in 3 - 4 hours. Even with the crochet edging. I am so psyched. This is going to be a great fall. Crafting is going to be fun again! View my complete profile.

Krafty Kritter: Been a little while!
http://kraftykritter1.blogspot.com/2006/06/been-little-while.html
Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Been a little while! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've had a little crafting lull, with going on vacation and the children's end-of-the-school-year activities taking up a lot of my time. I have perfected the tunisian panta, however, and will post instructions soon. As a Michaels instructor, I've noticed a huge lull in my class attendance! Here are the new Knifty Knitters, for anyone who hasn't seen them yet:. Good crafting to everyone! Posted by ally in canada at 7:25 AM.

Krafty Kritter: Nearly Done!
http://kraftykritter1.blogspot.com/2006/02/nearly-done.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2006. Well, I've got all the pieces of the sweater done, and sewn together. It actually looks better than I thought it would, although it hangs a little funny. I haven't yet had my daughter try it on, since she's asleep right now. As soon as she gets up, I'll take a pic of her wearing it. Here's it for your enjoyment: Oh, and since I'm going to get this done before the end of the olympics, I'm going to make a blanket square or two for "Blankets for Canada". That looks GREAT Ally!
Krafty Kritter: Sweater all Done!
http://kraftykritter1.blogspot.com/2006/02/sweater-all-done.html
Saturday, February 25, 2006. Well, I finally finished my sweater today. Like the Canadian Woman's Curling Team, I'm brought a bit low with a cough and cold caught from my son, but I persevered and it is done, finished one day ahead! I crocheted on bell sleeves, and then did a single crochet all along the edges to give it a more finished look. Then I made the frog closures by creating an i-cord on the blue KK, and crocheting the buttons. Here's a detail of the frog closures:. And search for "Panta". This ...

The Mouse that Knits
The Mouse that Knits. Another boring blog about knitting and work. Friday, August 26, 2011. Sorry everyone, this is just for Pinterest.I promise to update the blog later. Sunday, May 1, 2011. Another long break, another career change. I still love my job (one student I got a shadow for has a summer internship! But I've been thinking about it; after getting a new heat pump ($5100) and a new roof ($7500), the pay cut I took to go back to school hurts. Links to this post. Friday, November 5, 2010. Learned t...

Knitting, crochet and other crafts. Me encantaron. :). Del blog de mi sorprendida, Paula. Los tejí en Katia laine nylon con este patrón.
Knitting mumma
Sunday, January 17, 2010. The sunhat gets wet. We just got back from a lovely holiday on the Gold Coast, we're exhausted but it was worth it! While travelling I managed to knit bub a little sunhat to go with her Tropical Lily. This is a gorgeous little pattern from Stitchymama. Tried it on earlier and as soon as I turned around to get another angle it went for a swim in the pool LOL. All good, now its "wet blocking" lol. Now doesn't the rascal look pretty pleased with herself :P Look mumma it floats.
Knitting Mummy's Everyday Life
Knitting Mummy's Everyday Life. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. I also had my oldest Carly and her three kids stay for half term last week too so to be honest today is the first day I am actually getting myself sorted. As a side note I would like to add I have now not knit anything for a week. So I hope that soon there will be the start of my 'real' post and it will contain pictures and hopefully a bit of interesting information too. Till then I will say watch this space. Saturday, January 28, 2012. Just a...
The Knitting Munkee | Peripatetic, Occasional Akinetic, Professional Thanatist with a M.S. in Sneezology and a Ph.D. in Stupid Tortillas
More on the ads on the phone saga…. S it turns out, it seems that verizon charges for the infamous ads on my stupid LG phone. How do I know this? Because my bill had extra charges for data usage, which I make sure not to use ever. Called verizon, and miraculously they said they could block the data on their end. Still, they did not reimburse me for a scam they have with LG. Dirty. On Dec 28, 2011 in Uncategorized. Why are there ads on my LG phone? On Dec 19, 2011 in trivial. Welcome to the blog.

The Knitting Musician
Sharing needles since 1997. Sunday, July 21, 2013. Yarn: Malabrigo Sock in stonechat. Needles: US 1, 2.25 mm. Cast on: July 18, 2013. Cast off: July 20, 2013. And I had 35 g of the Malabrigo Sock left over! My fingers are itching to spin, and the minute I'm back from my vacation, I'll be snatching up at least 8 oz of polwarth roving. I hope to make some cabled yarn (2-ply cabled back onto itself, yielding a 4-ply) to be knitted up into socks. Posted by The Knitting Musician. Links to this post. I think c...
Knitting Musings
Monday, March 22, 2010. Baby A Chooses Her Own Books. These two are particular favorites. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. So while all of our fellow DC-ers are stuck under mounds of snow, we're battling the "cold" 60 degree temperatures here in Fort Myers. We've only been able to go to the beach twice (oh, the humanity) -. And we actually had to wear jackets and long pants to swing at the park. Monster, meanwhile, has mastered the head-first dive down the slide. WHEEEEEEEEEEEE! Saturday, January 30, 2010.
