Random bits of serendipity. December 15, 2008. I gathered up the local granddaughters last Saturday, told my daughter and her husband to go out and spend the day together and headed to my sisters house. Our plan was to decorate gingerbread cookies, build a gingerbread house with graham crackers and make Santa hat cookie bites. And lots more. It is a fact of life in our family that we all gather for such occasions. Since she lives 225 miles east of Portland where the rest of us live it meant ROAD TRIP! As I wandered in to pour myself another cup of tea he was standing at the silverware drawer having just emptied the basket. I noticed a pile of clean spoons on the counter. . Do you like my art?
