Hiking, snorkeling, mingling with tortoises, iguanas, penguins, etc. - nothing like it in the world! Iguanas at the hotel. Monday, January 2, 2012. Some of the villages were only accessible by water. These pictures show how we traveled on the Napo River (a tributary of the Amazon River) to the village of San Rafael on an island.

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. I finally bought a kayak! I have been looking and trying many different kinds for about a year and finally settled on a Tiderace Xcape. It is a great boat, stable yet agile and it holds a lot for kayak camping. Pictures below are on Lake Washington (with Mt. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. During our visit to the Virginia Barrier Islands, Morgan proposed to Ali on one of the islands! He had his grandmother's ring put in a new setting and took Ali for a beach walk and presented her with the question and the ring :-). She said yes! Current plan is to finish their doctorate programs in about a year then start planning the wedding. A wedding where they can be introduced as Doctor and doctor ! It has been almost one month. It was a crazy weekend that just passed . oh wait tomorrow starts a new one. Who wants me to interview them? Viewing 0 - 10. I wanted to reflect on the nursing relationship that I had with Jewell, so you can pass this if you want. It has been almost one month. Jewell is doing great. I can't believe she is going to be 6 months next week! I want to say she is around 14 or 15 pounds. but she is sooooo long. Maybe 26 or 27 inches. Alright time for bed, my finger really hurts.
