Thursday, April 8, 2010. The Big Road Trip (Part II). The third day of our trip was all driving! We left early from Metropolis, Illinois / Paducah, Kentucky (the cities are sort of combined). After we left our hotel we headed over to the gas station in Metropolis (where Superman is from). These two cutouts were just calling out for Barbie and Colby. We wish they were with us but you'll just have to imagine them there! It is amazing how exhausting it can be just driving all day! Mark and Val Gardner.

Friday, January 29, 2010. Me that he would know more when he looks at me me in a week or so after the swelling has gone down. He told me that his nurse would call me on Monday and make an appointment for Friday. Then he wrapped me in a hard splint and advised me how to care for it for the next week. I returned to school and Kalani and Der. Ek brought me and my car home. Now it's time for a Tylenol 800, some ice and hopefully some sleep. January 30, 2010 at 9:36 AM. Saturday, November 27, 2010. In all of the festivities, we thought also about Chris and how much we appreciated and loved him during the short time that he was with us. Friday, Jonathan, Jared and their families spent a day of shopping, playing, and enjoying each other. The boys took the kids to the air and space museum out at Dulles airport where they all had a great time. Cherry and I had to work in the mission office. We had fourteen new missionaries arrive in two waves Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Christmas eve, Jonathan and his family came over and we had dinner together, played with the kids and then sent them home to get rested up for the big day. It was a great evening. Christmas morning, Cherry and I got up and opened our presents, had some breakfast and then got cleaned up to go over to Jonathan and Nicole's. We got there about 11:00 and the kid were already enjoying all the bounties that Santa had brought. Michael got a remote control truck from Grandma and Grandpa.

When the garage is finished, it will connect to the house and there will be a door so that Heather and the girls don't have to go out in the weather. It has a full attic for storage or whatever. Thursday, August 4, 2011. On Sunday morning we got up early and headed out. We had a great trip down with not too much traffice and we met Jared and his family at Captain Frank's a little after noon. We had our obligatory hot dogs and officially started our vacation. Our house was ready so as soon as we finished eating we headed over and moved in. There is always lots of digging at the beach. The pool was great and we used it a lot to cool down from the heat. Cherry, Robin and Katy take a bike ride.
