Thursday, August 30, 2007. Wow Time flies. I cannot believe that it is almost September already! Our moms and Sarah and Karen are back in school and football games are gradually replacing baseball coverage on tv. It is still strange to think that John and I have a 4 month old beautiful baby. Also have Courtney's wedding coming up. The bachelorette party is going to kill me! It starts at 11AM at the wineries! It should be lots of fun though. I haven't partied with my girls for ages. Monday, April 28, 2008. Gma Jo to the rescue! Thank goodness for Grandma Jo. As soon as she heard that Gav and I would be on our own for awhile, she booked her flight to Florida to come stay with us. She came two days after John had to leave and the timing was perfect. We were sad- missing daddy and not knowing what to do with ourselves! She lifted our spirits and we had a lot of fun. Wednesday, June 04, 2008. We're back in Florida after a long vacay in the midwest. Gav and I spent a couple weeks back home visiting everyone. Sadly, while we were there, Grandma Ann Paruch passed away after living more than 90 years. We miss her and it will be difficult to adjust to family get-togethers without her being with us. But, there is no one better to be around when you are sick than your mama. What a handsome little man! Tell me he didn't really travel in that suitcase.HA!

Friday, February 22, 2008. So then we went to Walmart and the lines were so long. Helloo.can't you open a few more lanes? This is where it gets funny. Sasha came running toward me when they opened the little gate to let her out. She looked more than ready to get out of there. She jumped up on me and slimed my face. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Sunshine is my therapy. Sunday, August 24, 2008. Go away Ms. Fay. Once the winds settled down, Gav and I went outside and played like fools in the rain. We had so much fun. Splashed in the puddles and got drenched in the downpour. Today the sun was shining for awhile. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. WE didn't realize, however, that we were in for it. Everything went wrong! We arrived on Monday afternoon after a 6 hour drive and went straight to the pool. By the time we checked into our room, unpacked, got Gavin situated, and ate dinner we were exhausted. We noticed that our room seemed a bit "dated", but we were too tired to care. Sunday, December 23, 2007. We have a mover on our hands. Gavin put it all together and is now officially "scooting" around like crazy. Not quite crawling, I don't think his legs are up enough, but he is fast! We "skyped" my family tonight who was celebrating Christmas. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Christmas all over again. Today we received a package in the mail from Grandma Karen and Grandpa Larry. It was FILLED (and I mean filled) with new clothes for Gav! Seven new pairs of pajamas, a few new outfits, new washcloths and a big boy bath towel! Oh and a super cute new bib. It was like Christmas again a month later. Thanks mom and dad! Oh, and I knew how to use the special key that was in the mailbox. I didn't make a fool out of myself again. Thursday, January 24, 2008.
