John's Botany

Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Sunday, November 2, 2008. I noticed that the number and variety of organisms has significantly increased. With the help of the professor we identified a couple of different types that were common. Caenomorpha which look like spinning tops or toadstools, and Notommatoid Rotifers. The rotifers were very interesting they were observed eating while stationary, using their flagella to create water current into their mouths bringing food in with it. Monday, October 27, 2008.

John's Botany: Observation 1

http://jwilso80botany.blogspot.com/2008/10/observation-1.html

Monday, October 27, 2008. I observed several small groups of cells that clearly had flagella as they moved about the aquarium. I also observed a couple of the small circular cells that rotated many very quickly. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

I am a senior in computer science at the University of Pennsylvania. Emailing Google Spreadsheet Grades. I am a teaching assistant for a friend this year, and the hassle of how to send out grades has been a small challenge for me. Last year the class was small enough that I could simply copy and paste from the Google spreadsheets we use to an email. This semester, however, we have more than 25 kids, so I wanted to find a better solution. I can’t count the number of times that I have had trouble with my c...

A CALIFORNIA DAY OF REPENTANCE. June 16, 2015. It was raining throughout Central and Southern California in May. This is a praise to the Lord, but not the coming millennium. God’s mercy came when we needed it most; it hasn’t seriously dented the parched state of our state. Neither will this. FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND FAITH NOT FOR WIMPS. June 11, 2015.
