Sheward Family Updates: July 2010
http://philipandcrystal.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
In June we went to North Carolina and Cole got to experience the beach for the very first time. True to form, Cole was hesitant at first, but by the end of the week, he was loving it. We have documented just how much fun we had, to wit:. Cousin Kaitlyn must have seen something out in the ocean! Sawyer and Cole, beware! Cole was enthralled by the lifeguard's ATV. And was fortunate enough to score a photo op. A family self-portrait on the beach. The Shewards bid farewell to the OBX.

Sheward Family Updates: Chair Thief
http://philipandcrystal.blogspot.com/2010/10/chair-thief.html
Last Christmas, Cole got a mini arm chair. We keep it in the living room and sometimes he sits in it to watch TV. I guess it's time for Cole to get used to sharing. Posted by Crystal Sheward. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Just A Typical Evening at the Sheward House.

even by a millimeter: Teachers Don’t Hate America! (and Then There’s the Bad News)

Even by a millimeter. You write in order to change the world, knowing perfectly well that you probably can't, but also knowing that literature is indispensable to the world. The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you alter, even by a millimeter, the way people look at reality, then you can change it." - James Baldwin. Teachers Don’t Hate America! And Then There’s the Bad News). Here's my newest American.com blog post. Released today by AEI: teachers don’t hate America! Well, it like...

Let us take a share of the cunning and sneaking character of the fox, as much of the wide-awake and cautious habits of the weasel, a similar proportion of the voracity of the mink, and add thereto some of the climbing propensities of the raccoon, and we have a tolerable idea of the attributes of the little prowler". -J. Sheward Family Updates: Cole's Rockin' to DMB
http://philipandcrystal.blogspot.com/2010/09/coles-rockin-to-dmb.html
Cole's Rockin' to DMB. So I guess Cole likes Dave Matthews, or at least he likes playing his guitar with DMB. We were watching the NFL Kickoff pregame, and this is what Cole started doing. Posted by Crystal Sheward. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Coles Rockin to DMB.

January 5th, 2008 (06:30 pm). Or, rather, it's already here. We're actually getting snow, which is really neat. I took Sitka out for a walk around the block and he was beautiful to see, all playing with the snow on the ground and getting flakes on his back and such. My shoes are soggy now but it was worth it to see how happy he was, and how in-his-element he looked. SPEAKING OF PUPPY, I finally found my camera cable, right? So I uploaded (some of) the photos he's in. I thought I'd share. Posted by: Erin (.

Matt Brown's Blog: October 2009
http://mattbrownblog.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 28, 2009. At night, we would drive a long ways out to a farming village and share the gospel message using skits, songs, and testimonies. The area was known for having many drunk men. We had so many distractions during our time there including passing vehicles and motorcycles, screaming children, drunk men, and animals! Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support while I have been outreach. Please pray that the next few weeks go well for our team as we leave November 14th. I hav...
