A few weeks ago we were spending some time in Ohio with Josh's side of the family, and the date of our ultrasound came! Josh and I went and saw the sweet little one growing inside me, and we learned the gender! We decided that we wanted to share the news with the family in person in a fun, memorable way. Just one blink and its changed. Saturday, April 23, 2011. So, each year it seems like our family has enjoyed a membership at a local museum or zoo. This year, we 'finally' have 'graduated' to the Greenfield Village/ Henry Ford Museum. finally. because we've been waiting until we were 'all old enough' to really enjoy it. A fun filled afternoon of all the rides we could enjoy! So for Spring Break this year the kids and I made a list of all the things we'd like to do -. Our first day of "spring break".

A Little Diddy.'Bout Ben and Emily. Two American kids growing up in the heartland. Monday, November 29, 2010. Ben and I decided to drive over to Florida for Thanksgiving this year! It was a short fun trip! But well worth it! Can't say I had gone to the beach on black Friday before,. But it was far better sitting on the beach with 80 degree weather. Than trying to shop at 4 am! Now, it's hard for me to get in the Christmas spirit with this. But it sure was nice! We all had a great time! Me and my brothers!

A little glimpse into the everyday life of the Mathew family. Monday, March 20, 2017. Jonah's Life in the NICU. Jonah spent a total of 40 days in the hospital before he came home. His first two weeks were in the NICU at St. Joseph Mercy. After I was discharged as a patient there, I was still able to stay in the hospital in what they refer to as "nesting rooms". It was such a blessing to be right down the hall from him, instead of 51 miles away. Someone sure loves his daddy! This was my view for many weeks.
