Friday, July 18, 2008. A 4th of July to Remember. She told us that herself! Her sole purpose in life seems to be to prove to the parents that they are wrong! The DR at the ER gave her some good drugs to help with the swelling and started her on some good antibiotics. It still continued to get worse and by the morning of the 4th her eye was swollen shut. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. We had a fun Halloween this year. The kids had a great time with their costumes. McKay was a "bad witch", Kaci was a cuddly chicken, Oakley was a black cat and Colton was a motorcycle. Rider who got in an accident and turned into vampire! Art of his costume was his glow-in-the-dark vampire teeth. Josh was in charge of the annual "Valley Ward Spook Alley" It turned out great! Oakley burned her hand really bad on Grandma Stephens stove, so she has her hand all wrapped up!

Sunday, August 22, 2010. We have some exciting news! We are expecting a Valentine's baby! I'm 15 weeks along and everything is going wonderfully so I thought it would be ok to officially announce it. I'm currently on bed rest for a small placental tear but its been lightened to "princess" bed rest as my perinatalogist put it. I can't work, cook or clean but Dustin says I can shop :). Really it's not a lot different from the official bed rest I was on last week but I can leave the house now.

We went to the pumpkin patch at Treworgy Family Orchards with our friends on Thursday afternoon. All of the kids picked out a pumpkin from the patch, we went through a turkey-shaped corn maze, saw some farm animals and enjoyed an ice cream in the sun together. It was a lot of fun! Thursday, June 20, 2013. So we tried the new Kraft Habanero Heat shredded cheese the other day - Karly had a coupon that made it free. Anyway, it has some kick but tastes pretty good. As we sat eating it Karly's dad said "you wouldn't need to buy this cheese again". It made me giggle thinking about the commercial for the cheese, and in case you've never seen it, ahoy.
