Thursday, September 22, 2011. Tracie is out of surgery and doing well. The doctor told us that she had about a half of an inch hole in her heart. He also said that as holes in hearts go, this was a whopper! He repaired the hole using a piece of surgical Gore-Tex called a Helex device. www.goremedical.com/helex/.
