The guy who just barely got his application in on time last November would probably not believe me if I told him he'd be here. I probably forgot a lot of things. Oh well! Wednesday, 27 July 2011. Blogging it up - Intro Post. I'll be leaving for Japan three days from now, and Kelsey will hopefully follow in September. Exciting stuff! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Teaching English in Japan.

Japan Happy Adventure Fun Time: September 2011
http://nkdojapan.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Japan Happy Adventure Fun Time. Thursday, 29 September 2011. You're Inawashirooo, What's Your Name? September is rapidly reaching its close and the weather here in Sendai is wonderful. Nothing beats forgetting you even had an air conditioner since you never have to use it anymore. Although that also means the nights are getting a bit chillier, but thus far it's nothing a thicker blanket can't solve! Carb-ing up before our train leaves. Some more zealously than others. Which is always fun. Picking up ...

Japan Happy Adventure Fun Time: August 2011
http://nkdojapan.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Japan Happy Adventure Fun Time. Sunday, 28 August 2011. It's a little harder to declare that "my entire diet is Japanese food and I have little choice in the matter". Luckily I live in one of Japan's largest cities, which means that I avoid the oft-cited pitfall of never being able to eat " Western. Peanut butter. Oh yes. Matt makes good sushi. I do not. Kame = Turtle. Turtle House! No turtles were around, however. Kame House is cool on the inside. What more could you ask for? This is the enemy I was sen...

Japan Happy Adventure Fun Time. Monday, 5 December 2011. Long time no see blog! Were still maintaining close to a one-a-month average, however, so all you subscribers are still getting your moneys worth (please send money). Japan has a nifty list called the Three Views of Japan. It is (supposedly) the countrys three most celebrated scenic sites. We happen to live really quite close to one of them - Matsushima. Labels: Bridges and Boats. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Japan Happy Adventure Fun Time: The Road Less Travelled
http://nkdojapan.blogspot.com/2011/10/omoshiroyama.html
Japan Happy Adventure Fun Time. Monday, 10 October 2011. The Road Less Travelled. Our lovely train emerges from a tunnel that must have taken 5 minutes to get through. Omoshiroyama is, of course, known for its massive moths. Our destination was Omoshiroyamakogen. Liam ruins a perfectly good photo. A hikin' we will go. There's a couple of steep drops; we were lucky to have stairs for this one! We don't need no railings! Nico tries to find a shortcut. Moments before he was washed away. Kelsey takes a break.
