Wikipedia says steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, and speculative fiction that came into prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s. If a person accepted God's grace through the shed blood of Jesus Christ to only escape hell, then isn't that a selfish motive instead of a selfless one?
