Elijah 敏辰 Shih was born on March 8, 2015 at 8:24am. We are completely humbled to be blessed with this precious life to hold and to cherish for better or worse. Our baby boy is named Elijah meaning “Yahweh is God” in Hebrew after the great prophet, a man of courage and faith. His Chinese name is 敏 辰. All swaddled and dreaming.

January 28, 2015. 344 Weeks: Getting BIG! Well into my third trimester of pregnancy, I am glad to share that baby’s healthy and mommy’s feeling great! A little over a month left till the due date, my baby is using all his energy growing. He is absorbing more nutrients and putting on pounds fast. February 10, 2015. 364 Weeks: That’s What it Feels Like? I never understood the 36.4 weeks (What is the 0.4? Is it 36 weeks and 2.5 days? Anyway, let’s just say that technology is very advanced these days. For that, I am grateful. Ever since my 34th week, I have to do a test where I have to listen to the baby’s heartbeat and press a button whenever he moved. It’s two metal circles strapped to my belly (Kind of looks like the picture below). The test lasts about 20 minutes. What was I supposed to feel?

They are not easy on the waist line, but are OOOOOOH so amazing! 1 brown O'brien hash brown potatoes 'n peppers in a little oil. Set aside. 2 cut up bacon in small pieces and cook (keep the oil in the pan! 1/2 and onion w/ cut up pickled jalapenos in the bacon fat. 4 beat 5 eggs w/ salt and pepper. 5 add eggs to the pan w/ the onions. Add the bacon and potatoes back to the mix. When eggs. Are almost done add in some cheese.
