Monday, February 11, 2013. What a great weekend! It was the first weekend since we moved back that we were able to hang out as a family the whole time. On Saturday we headed to Central Park to enjoy the snow. It was Declan's first experience with snow and he loved it. We stayed out until his cheeks were rosy red. Last week when the weather was gorgeous I had a moment where I realized that at the end of the day I am going to be exhausted no matter what I do so I might as well spend some days really wearing myself out in Central Park. Yesterday morning we headed over to my visiting teacher's apartment and she ended up feeding me lunch (how awesome is she! There were TONS of people out and about in the middle of a Monday afternoon. VandenAkkers in the City! Tuesday, May 28, 2013. It's been forever since I posted anything. I'm pretty sure I never even blogged about being pregnant. But I thought I'd officially introduce our new son! Born May 4th 2013. 7 lbs 8 oz. He is a total, and complete, DOLL! We got to the hospital around 7am, and he was born 4 hours later! Everything went really well, and I couldn't have been more happy with the entire event. Especially because we got our sweet little Callum! The sweetest baby in the world.
