Monday, September 07, 2009. Just a bit of nostalgia. I've found a new author that I really like- - Cathy Pickens. She writes funny mysteries set in the mountains of South Carolina. Two reasons right there why I like her! The mountains of SC are a part of the Appalachian mountains, just like the mountains in my hometown. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Fight For Air: American Lung Association of New England Boston Walk. For the past two years I have been participating in the Asthma Walk over in Boston and doing it once again in a few weeks (although this year may be more of a hobble with my back issue) still I am looking forward to it. I have been a part of the Almar Building and Remodeling team. Which is owned and operated by my best friend and his wife who herself has Asthma. I can't wait to see who is there this year.

I bought the fabric at IKEA for $2.99 a yard. This week, I tightened my boot straps and tackled the challenge. I had never done this before, so I watched a couple of videos on youTube and dug in!
