Thursday, June 28, 2012. Red Hat, here we come! OK, I couldn't resist quickly blogging about the awesome news that was announced. Is being acquired by Red Hat. http://janstey.blogspot.com/2015/06/jboss-fuse-62-is-out.html

Tuesday, June 23, 2015. JBoss Fuse 6.2 is out! Hot off the presses today is JBoss Fuse 6.2. For those who don't know, Fuse is an open source ESB focused on making integration easier. It is made up of a bunch of popular opensource projects like Apache Camel. OK, so what's new since Fuse 6.1? Another notable addition is the REST DSL. Which allows you to easily define REST services within a Camel route. Something really cool for folks who like to write Camel components is the API component framework. Back i...

Jan's Theological Thoughts

Thoughts about Theology and Christian Living. Monday, 3 October 2011. As men and women of this world, we are often rather good at the 'Blame Game'. We often have an excuse - or even better, someone to blame - why we did or did not do as we did. But all our choices have repercussions, some even extend beyond our reach and knowledge. Tidbits

Just some weird stuff. Saturday, November 16, 2013. E Wright, Agent. Buckley Chronicle. 22 April 1898. Sunday, August 25, 2013. We recently visited the Beekman Cemetery near East Bend, Illinois. The small cemetery is very secluded in the corn fields of Champaign County. I have seen many of the "tree stump" headstones, but this cemetery had a very unusual grouping of "tree stump" stones. During the intense heat of the afternoon Donald, who could not swim but had often been in the water before, went with s...
