I kept forgetting all week long that it was my birthday also coming up, until the day before. Then I really remembered it wasn't only Garrett's birthday. We invited over a few families that had only a couple kids each mostly because our house is small and can't hold that many people! I think I would like throwing more parties and get-togethers. Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Our first fourth of July with Garrett was pretty low key. We drove across the street to another neighborhood for a small parade. which Garrett liked for the most part! Chillin and waitin for the candy! Our awesome MPV has a third row that can be flipped over for a tailgating seat. So awesome! Garrett loved sitting beside Daddy waiting for the festivities. I love this, G thought it funny we were all getting close together. Watching the parade start. Do I have to share with Daddy?

Thursday, June 9, 2011. Best 3D Ultrasound Yet. Since our little stinker is breech, faces towards my back, and has his face stuffed into the placenta (sorry if too much info here), we have not been able to get a decent 3D picture.but today I think we got a pretty good one! It's the same picture, just different tones). I went to see the specialist doctor today and he said that any time on or after July 10th Garrett can come! Garrett now weighs 5 lbs 6 oz. Friday, May 25, 2012. Camping at Galveston State Park. We went camping with Garrett for the first time at Galveston State Park. We set him in the tent while we set up the rest of our stuff. he was pretty content sitting with Kermit aka his BFF. He's super tired here. It's past his usual bedtime, but he was a good sport. Dustin is giving a superb thumbs up. But not for the mosquitos. Those were a hideous thumbs down! How can you resist that smile? Oh I just love that little boy. First of many I'm sure.

Friday, December 26, 2014. The rain couldn't stop us from going to Disneyland. We had an amazing time and the wait times were great! Bailey loved meeting all of the Characters. She really wanted to see Elsa and Anna but you had to get tickets and they were all out. The Pirates ride. Both Sydney and Bailey were scared. Bailey's first roller coaster ride ever on Big Thunder Mountain. I could tell she could a little scared but she did great. Taking a couple of shots with Dad.

Friday, December 26, 2014. I really enjoyed this Christmas. It get more fun every year as the kids get older. The excitement and magic! This is truly the most wonderful time of the year. I am so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and I that I got to bare testimony to my children that he was born like us on this earth and gave us the most precious gift of all. My girls were so excited to celebrate Jesus's birthday. We love you Jesus! Sydney woke up first Christmas morning and went right to her stocking.

It, of course, did some decent damage - as a large potato would hitting your face straight on. I was getting potatoes out to cook last night and Grace said to me, "Mommy, please don't throw potatoes at my mouth. It hurts. It makes me bleed. Please, please Mommy, don't throw a potato at me.".
